Just a short note to express my appreciation for the magnificent weekend I had fishing there at Great Barrier Island.
I have been on a number of charters from the east coast to the west coast and must say that this last one has to be the best by far. The accomodation was nothing short of 5 star, the hospitality friendly and very comforting. The fishing was outstanding with a couple of the fish having the last say but never the less thats what keeps us going back for more knowing that next time we, the angler, will have the last say, & the crayfish was like the icing on the cake.
Since I have been back in Hamilton all I can think of is getting back there to do it all again. After talking to a few of the mates here & sharing my Great Barrier Island experience with them, they would like to know how to get over there & get amongst it all.
